I would pass on the K&N,i'm about to order the WMS intake with SCT tuner.Theres a ton of info on this in a thread we covered a few weeks ago,1/4 mile tested against others (dynos don't win races)....It's a front air draw intake, not a side mount(less bends the better),and it comes with a whole new designed radiator cover.Heres the info...
[b]--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Was just reading an article in Mustangs and fast fords...
The tested AEM...vs...Steeda.....vs....WMS...
And this is a good test because it's not on a dyno (dyno's don't win races, sometimes to get a 2 hp increase at a certain rpm, there giving up mid range torque...not good))..
The car was stock with 20 inch wheels.Outside Air temp, oil temp etc were stickly monitored, and even the air/fuel ratios were monitored to make as identical as possible.3 passes on each intake.
DA - 1434 feet above sea-level-
Stock..........................13.85 @ 97.28
AEM brute force...........13.83 @ 97.40
Steeda High Volocity...13.76 @ 98.14
WMS.........................13.69 @ 98.68 even though the DA shot up to 2366 feet, and also had the lowest 60 ft times. This intake will most likely respond even better with a few mods and really seperate itself from the others..It also gives the IAT a fixed temp signal of 77* which directly influences power gains.I like it too because it comes straight of the t-body to the front grill, has a modified raditaor cover.Comes with an SCT tuner also.

Any idea where I could find one of those WMS intakes online. Because I found a couple of WMS that just look like regular intakes. If you or anyone could direct me to a page that has them that would just be awesome.

Yeah I actually found it on my own yesterday. I'm still kind of new to the whole modding thing (I actually don't even have my mustang yet still some more months to go but I'm looking for good mods for it) so I looked for WMS CAI istead of a ram. Once I came back and checked and kicked myself for not seeing ram i went and found it. Thanks though for the help.
