why not just replace the bushings.

what added benifit of replaceing the actuall control arms would I get? considering a one piece drive shaft is in my future, maybe i will just go ahead and get an adjustable upper 3rd link but why not just replace the bushing in the stock lower control arms?

Or replace them all with these prothane bushings

Front Swaybar Bushings
Rear Swaybar Bushings
Shifter Bushings (Manual Transmission)
Upper Control Arm Bushings
Lower Control Arm Bushings
Front Control Arm Bushings

You should change thee whole assembly because at that power level with sticky tires, the control arms themselves will flex. The stockers are just POS stamped pieces. The aftermarket units are much more substantial.

Have to decide if you want better control at launch or if you require the articulation factor for improved road manors. If straight up urethane bushings than you loss a bit of the roll features or suspension articulation. But gain straight up traction improvement.

The solution ? they do offer either solid joint type's or combinations of urethane and poly ball combo's that satisfy both traction and articulation.

Many different options but do your homework to see what works best for you !
