um. hard for me to tell that becuaes i changed the entire exhuast when i changed the cams. But i would say no i thought the injector tick was less since the cams, but that could just be becuase my exhaust is so much louder. That injector tick on my car is worse sometimes then others anyway, it always has been that way.

Your car in general is a bit louder in person isn't it?? I know with Cams on anyother car I ever heard, they are. So i'm guessing the tick would be too.

lol see i like the way those cams idle with the mild lope.

especially sometimes.

Does the idle on yours seem to change sometimes. maybe i just notice it more sometimes.

I was idleing, coasting down the stageing lanes last friday night and it was just music. maybe its the warmer air but they seem to be nastier lately. I like the videos of the big cams, but i dont know if i would want my car to idle like that, know that is just isnt natural for this engine anyway.

I gotta be honest. I dont even know what injector tick is. I mean i know what sound your talking about but i dont know what actually cuases that sound. What i do know is that with the big cams like the bbr stage IIs, on that vid you could really hear it. It sounds literally like a sewing machine. let me find that vid.

The exhaust sounds great but the engine sounds like solid lifters that are too loose. Are the injectors normally that loud?

no the problem in that vid is that they have the idle set at 600 instead of 800 to make it idle sound meaner. that is why it sounds like shit. You car wont sound like that if you have your idle set at a normal place, i have mine at 760 a lot of people are at 800.

I'm running Dougs 93 octane tune plus have a dyno tune in my SCT.

So you are saying the Comp Stage 2 will give you more HP than the FRRP's.

Mine is right aroung 800 which willl take some of the lope out of the exhaust.
