GT500 or bullitt? Would you?

I went to the dealership today to get my windows fixed again

... They have a black gt500, a bullitt, heritage saleen, and a few others. I was talking to my salesman and he was telling me they could probably get a deal done. Would you guys trade my car in for one of those specialty stangs? That gt500 was so sick looking. I would probably only do it for a supercharged vehicle, but the other ones are nice!

heck no, unless your car is paid for and you have some extra to spend.........other than that just slap a blower on your car. lots cheaper

slap a blower on your own, you can make better power yourself and its a lot cheaper.

you could own gt500s with a sleeper

only one problem with that plan... you can't just slap a blower on your car. You have to pay for it. you can't just go to the store and finance a blower... but you can finance a gt500

there is always a personal loan dude..........if you want to finance something that is........just get a loan from your bank for about 10,000 and slap a BUNCH of stuff into your car.

I owe 20K on my 07 and they wanted 41K for the 07 gt500 and 32K for the bullitt.

what constitutes a good job locked? I have job security and a salary. I'm making around 35K a year.

If you were to buy that GT500, after interest an everything, you will be paying close to damn near $65,000.00. And who want's to pay that for a car that isn't even worth that kind of money. Once you drive that GT500 off the lot, it will only be worth like $30-35,000.00, so in the end you'd be paying close to $70,000.00, for a car that's value isn't even worth half of that. To me it's not worth it. If your situation was different, and you didn't owe anything on your car and you were looking into a car that you knew the value would be sure to go up, or you were loaded with cash, and a great paying job, then it would be a totally different story.

Not enough for a GT500. The payment on that would be crazy. Just keep your car and mod the hell out of it.

i was always told to finance a car thats 1/3 of your yearly salery.

I know I have read that somewhere, but I think alot of people don't adhere to that rule. But not a good idea to buy a 32,000 or a 50,000 car when you make around 32,000 per. year.

I wouldn't , your car looks good. Then again you only live once and if you really want and can get approved for a GT500 and still pay all your other bills then
