Open To Suggestions
Hello everyone! Yes, I'm new, I just registered about two days ago.
Anyway, I have a 2006 GT Coupe, Tungsten Gray. I just installed the K&N Air Charger, today as matter of fact. I think the next thing I want to do is a body kit. I kindda like the California Dreamin body kit, but I am open to suggestions. I'd like to hear what you all have to say or have experienced/seen. Thanks in advance, Kevin |

Roush quarter panel Louvers are pretty sweet. And they also make a nice scoop (not too big but visible)

On second tought, maybe the california dreamin kit isn't the right one.
Has anyone had any dealings with this company? http://www.atlantamustang.com/hoodscoops1.html In your guys opinions, is it cheaper to buy the part unpainted and have it painted, or buy it already painted? |

you would have to ask a local body shop. i'm sure you could do it for cheaper, but you also get what you pay for. have a good body guy install it for you and make it functional at the same time.

yeah I'd definately let somebody else do the body work because matching the paint tone and symetry of it all is a total bitch.

Wow the big question of body kits, I wish I could recomend one but it is really up to you so I will just point you in a nice direction.
MM&FF magazine put a "Buyers GUIDE" on their site which really just lists the diffrent manufacturers and links to their kits pictures so you can see what you like better. http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co..._buyers_guide/

AAh I just found a video of the Blow by Racing car,,
Just ignore the rear lower vanance as normally it is replaced to have no stock exhaust ports. theck it out to see the body and just listen to it http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...2032&q=mustang |

Sounded great when he revved it up but I'm not a fan of the idle sounds. Alittle too much like a harley for my liking and it just didn't sound good to me.

I like the 3D racer-boy kit from www.mrbodykit.com i especially like the way they do the rear window on this kit...And black out all the lights of coarse, and maybe add the front light spilt bar or whatever it's called..

if I had my choice on body kits! I'd go with the Street Scene Kit! I like that kit most of all!

IF YOU DO A BODY KIT DO THE HOTWHEELS KIT. STAY AWAY FROM THE CARBON FIBER BUT THAT WILL LOOK SICK ON YOUR CAR

Congrats Kevin on the new car! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
3dCARBON & S/S are both nice kits. I'd add to that that you should upgrade your wheels at some point as well to do the kit justice. You'll find some ideas here: http://northamericantuning.com/catalog/ If you don't want to go for a full kit at this point, you could easily start with louvers, side scoops, hood scoop, shorty antenna, mirror covers. All or one by one...
