I prefer coupes myself...

But a vert would be awfully nice on nice summer days...

I say one of each...j/k

Personal Opinion and well I Love my Vert, Its quiet when the top is up and not a single leak, very well sealed verses the past..

Only issue I have is I might have to sell mine! Damit!

I would love to have a Vert to take out on the nice days...I always wanted a Convertable Saleen or Roush with the speedster kit...

HT. I drove both and looked at both when I was looking at the 07. HT just has the extra mean look. The drop top is nice for the summer days...but that look of the HT sold me. I know too !

AAh both are awesome,, I'd go with what ever you feel better in,, isnt that why we get these toys anyways,, How you feel in it.. Nothing like Rolling down the road in an open top with a suped up Roush Dropped to the ground Rumbling next to a Ricer!

Oh and rolling down the California 1 Highway and having the Ladies in Bikini's looking isnt bad either!!

I bought a 2006 vert and I love it. I don't drive it in the winter because I live in Canada. But I would have to say that I've seen some mods look awsome on hardtops that would not look as good on a vert. The vert does give you feeling freedom though.
Good luck with your decision.

For me, there is nothing like the feeling of driving with the top down. If the wind in your face and the open feeling that you get without a roof obstructing your site, then a vert is the way to go.

Verts hold their resale value better also.

There sure is alot of people voting for the hardtop. I love the hardtop but I would not give up my 2006 vert gt for one. I think the vert is better at resale value as long as its keeped in premo condition.
