I wanna put Deep dish rims on my 06 GT. I dont want the reg buillet wheels, but something with a muscle look to it. I wanna put like 18 in front and 20s in the back, but i want the width alot thicher. any suggestions on where to start looking for good looking wheels?

Re: Deep Dish Wheels
I have 20x8 fronts and 20x10 rears, also if you want to get a large lip on the back it is the offset you need to look at as well. For muscle car wheels there are alot of ways you can go starting with American Racing, Boyd Coddington, HRE, Fikse, iForged, and CCW.

at www.tirerack.com or www.discounttire.com you can see different wheels on your car. i wouldn't suggest getting them there as they seem to cost much more. i just bought some konig wheels and ended up paying $760 after shipping. other places the same wheels were as much as $1100. so really you should decide what you want then google the one you decide and find the best price.
+1 on keeping the same size front and back

I'm assuming you want to change the "rake" of the stance alittle.Maybe try a 19 front and 20 rear..
For those who don't know the c5 corvete has 17 fron 18 rear stock, and the c6 has 18 front and 19 rear stock...

I went with 20's all the way around. Here's a shot of my rear wheel. The rear tires are 285/35/20

They're Sporza Wheels. But with the large openings, I'm gonna have to change the rotors and calipers. Besides, if I want to add more juice to the engine, I'll have to change them out anyway.

![]() 18x9 front w/255/45/18, 18x10 rear w/295/45/18 from mustangtuning.com. They're the anthracites. Tires are Nitto555 all around, Eibach Pro springs.

Dave- Those rims look sweet on your car. How do the Nitto's ride? Also, does the 05-06 have the tire monitoring system for air pressure?

I have an 07 and it has the tire pressure monitoring system.
On the website where you bought the tires and wheels, it says that they are good for upto a 2004 mustang. Is yours a pre or post 2004 car? |

Anything 2007 and newer has a federal mandate to have TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), largely because of the firestone/ford explorer incident.
I think they are increasing society's tolerance for stupidity. Now you don't even have to examine your vehicle before you drive because there is an idiot light in the dash... Sorry, for the outburst and I didn't mean to hi-jack the thread. Hayes |

THe top and bottom pics are not good pics, the car is sitting off level. The middle picture is actually a good representation of what the car looks like on level ground. It has the Eiback Pro lowing springs on it. Just doesnt look it in those 2 pics...and thanks for compliments on wheels...

What kind of wheels are those and where'd you get them?
When you put on your Eibach pro kit springs did you have to put any kind of camber correction on? |

They are Ruff Racing 280s. I got them from some company in South Florida that deals with Porsche Racing. (that is apparently where Ruff racing came from, a Porsche racing company I was told) And no, I didnt do any kind of camber plates. The rule I weas told by several ppl is that if you are not going lower than 1.5'', you dont need them on the new stangs...No problems yet and 5000 miles of driving with them on.
