BMR Lightweight Tubular Radiator Support/Sway Bar Delete

What are your thoughts on the BMR Lightweight Tubular Radiator Support/Sway Bar Delete?

BMR Lightweight Tubular Radiator Support/Sway Bar Delete - For Drag Racing 2005+ Mustang.

BMR 2005 Mustang Lightweight Tubular Radiator Support/Sway Bar Delete - For Drag Racing. If you are drag racing your new Mustang and don't need a front sway bar, our crossmember can save an additional 11 lbs. off the front end. The factory radiator crossmember is built overly strong because it must also support the additional loads of the front sway bar. With the swaybar removed, the crossmember only needs to support the weight of the radiator. Our lightweight crossmember only weighs 5.5 lbs. as compared the OE 16.5 lbs. Combined with sway bar removal, expect a 26.5 Lb. weight reduction!
Easy 30-45 minute install. Allows the use of the factory bumper cover support plastic.

It is a good way to save weight, but I like having a front swaybar.

Can you really notice the difference? Seems like most people I see posting (mainly on other boards) say you'll never miss it once it is off.

They do stay that, but I still want to keep one, because I like the corners too.

Yeah, I'm more of a straight line kind guy. Never been a big corner taker.

I considered one day putting mine back on, but as far a daily driving goes, what little it affects is negligible.

Apparently Blow By Racing has the same thing for $99 - 2005-2007 Mustang Sway Bar Eliminator

That makes me lean a little more towards actually giving this a shot!

I had the sway bar off of my 83 notch...those chasis were alot more weaker than the s197....i never missed it once it was off and I drove it on the street hard every day.... If you carve corners every day at high speeds dont do it ...otherwise give it a shot...you can always put it back on

And now I found a Granatelli kit for $79 - Unlimited Performance Racing Products On-Line - Sway Bar Eliminator

I wish I could always find parts for half the price of when I started

After you install it, launch a little harder than you normally would. When you feel the front end raise up you will notice that you are grinning. I also added adjustable shocks to the rear. With the shocks set softer, and the swaybar delete, it almost feels like the front tires come off the ground!
