Okay guys - need your help again.

So it took me a while to get back over to Ford, but they had my stud bolts for me. (After the jokes about a whole shop full of studs to hold things together, of course)

The little plastic fasteners are $4.50 EACH so hoping I don't break many of em when I pop them out. They have this nice little tool that removes them - I however, do not.

2 questions - what should I use to remove them?

Where should I put my 4 pieces of velcro to maximize holding power?

OK - 3 questions...

Has anyone ever just left the insulator off??? Does it look okay? <yes...4th question.>

Thank you!

Just use a screwdriver?

Where should I put the velcro? Just in a square around the center where the square indentation is?

K - it's done.

We'll see if it helped!

PS: Tool Used = Kitchen fork

Placed velcro in an H pattern in the center and a single piece below it (higher on the engine block).

Hopefully the rubbing will stop and I'll be able to keep my cover - sure do like the way it looks!
