Asked the dealership that I bought my car from about them, after I bought it, and they said they weren't even getting the information on them for another month, so they can't be coming on line very soon.

i've seen numerous ones in SoFL Saw one for sale at the dealership your dealership is bad then

Perhaps you saw the Hertz model? I'm under the impression the 325hp GT's will be out in January 2007.

I talked to a few friends of mine from different dealers and none of them have a date for the release yet, what you may be seeing is dealers customizing the car and calling it a shelby gt.

It would not be the first time a dealer installed a few options and called it something else. This happens alot with the Saleen and Roush cars because a dealer will install the kit or a few performance pieces you would get in the model and sell it to a person as a "GT ROUSH" When I was going to get my GT this actually happened to me luckly I am smarter than the sales guy thought I was.

I am curious if it is really 325hp or if they are underrating it a bit. I mean you can get more than 25 hp from simple bolt ons and a tune. Of course if it is 325 whp that is not so bad.

As I understand it, the 325 HP Shelby is just a GT with different muffs, an intake & a tune. You can do this to a regular GT a lot cheaper, I'm sure.

I think it's a deal and a half. You have the cosmetics taken care of, a nice bade with the name shelby... and its more then half of a full bolt on gt.

If you haven't seen any details yet, open up the 2007 Ford Racing Parts catalog...they have pictures and details about what all is in the Shelby GT cars.

Going to less than 10,000 annually, Ford Racing Tune (325HP), Ford X-Pipe, Ford Racing Mufflers, Hurst Shifter, Ford Racing Suspension Kit, some cosmetics similar to the Hertz Models and a lower rear gear (didn't whether it'll be the 4.10 or 3.73).

Should be a heck of a lot more affordable than the 2007 500's...
