Shelby/Scott Drake Billet Hood Pins

I ordered some Scott Drake hood pins a few weeks back from partscheap.com. They were on back order (I guess they have been for some time), so I just had them ship me the Shelby pins instead and UPS will be bringing them to my door this evening.

I know, I know... I don't have a Shelby, blah, blah, whatever...

Anyways, I just wanted to see who here has the Shelby/Scott Drake pins, get your opinions on fit/finish/install, and ask you to post some pics!

^ +1. Those are the pins I had as well. There is nothing wrong with putting the shelby pins on a GT. Its not like your puting the front facia, badges, adn whatnot on it... Right?

1Fast - No way in hell I'd be badging my car as a Shelby! The only reason I took the Shelby branded pins is because the paint ones weren't available.

Yeah, I don't really care that they say Shelby, honestly. Its just like having another part that says Steeda, ya know?

Agreed. There's nothing wrong with using performance parts with Shelby logos - that's a completely different situation than trying to badge something as something it's not. I have Shelby wheels and am thinking about the hood pins. Nothing wrong with that. But you won't catch me badging it with a Cobra logo on the fender or with the letters "S - H - E - L - B - Y" across the deck lid. The wheels and hood pins say, "I have Shelby performance parts," which is cool. Badging a car, however, says, "I have a Shelby car," which, if that's not the case, isn't so cool.
