OK, I got 5 of 7 projects done. I'm having some issues with the LCA's, and I'm doing the pins tomorrow (hopefully).

For now... well... I feel like the living dead. More details tomorrow. Time for dinner and sleep...

OK, here is a rundown of everything...

Shelby Hood Pins - Not yet installed. Will do this today if the weather holds up.

Billet LCA's - Had some issues getting the bushings installed. I thought they would have come preinstalled, but I guess I was incorrect. Fought with them for an hour and decided to move onto the next project.

Paint Calipers - I used the Dupli-color kit, and while the paint was good, the brush was TERRIBLE. Save yourself the trouble, buy a better brush. I switched to a good brush on my 2nd caliper and it made a WORLD of difference. Paint dried quick and I think it looks pretty nice. I did already chip a small piece, but I can touch that up without removing the wheel.

Remove Sway Bar - Piece of cake! Took about 15 minutes.

Install Lightweight Radiator Support - Removing the OEM Radiator Support wasn't too bad. You just have to unclip everything from it, cut the zip tie on the drivers side, and it'll drop without issue. MAKE SURE you are supporting the radiator with jack stands before dropping the support. You just swap the rubber into the new one and put it right back up. Zip tie everything that was clipped before, and you're done!

Prothane Motor Mounts - Besides having to move the motor back and forth to align the holes (we had the motor jacked a few inches - more on that below), these were pretty easy. Only issue was tightening down the passenger side main bolt, which was allen! Yikes! And of course we didn't have allen-style sockets, so it was an allen wrench and small pry bar to tighten it up. I read a lot of people talking about the ride harshness increasing when having these installed. I can barely notice a difference. I was kind of hoping for more "feel" of the engine. Ah well, I know they're going to do good for me.

OBX Long Tubes - Overall, this was easier to install than expected, yet took twice as much time as expected. I'm glad I didn't pay someone $600 to install it, but at the same time, I NEVER want to install headers on one of these Mustangs again. Not fun at all! We didn't remove the steering shaft, which was great, but it took jacking the motor about 3" and twisting and turning the headers for about 10 minutes before they slid in. Passenger side was much easier. The quality of these headers for the price is unbelievable when you compare them to others on the market that are 3-4 times the price. You also get two different H-Pipes. One its a straight H, and the other has little mufflers built in. I wanted to see if the little mufflers would end my trumpeting on my Mid-Mufflers and indeed it did! The rumble is now deeper, and not as scary as I'd hoped, but when I switch to new axle-backs I'll go with the straight H and I'm sure she'll bring terror to the streets Regardless, the sound is improved!

I'll try to take some pics later. I didn't take any during install.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via posting or PM.

Blah, I'm getting some rub on the transmission cross-member from the h-pipe hanger. Seems like the only issue so far, and my dremel will make sure its not a problem for long
