ive been thinkin hard on the stroker kit from livernois motorsports but other than their own mustang havent heard much of anyone that went stroked in an s197

My 5.0 The Stroker Stang - As seen on Horsepower TV - Memphis, Tennessee

this guy's car was on hp tv 387 rwhp w/ eagle stroker if i remember correctly
there's a couple links to hp tv page on his cardomain page
saw a couple vids of his car and sounds mean too.

yea the livernois stroker kits look great for the price. Their kits come out to 298ci not 302

I have the MMR 5L 950 stroker block built for a turbo.

Pic shows parts of the motor and the two power adders (turbo at bottom of pic)

I just put an eagle stroker kit in my car. I just got it back three weeks ago ive been breaking in the new klutch and parts before going to get the dyno tune done. When i get the dyno ill post the numbers up.

I am in the middle of the upgrade... they have had my car since the third of june... but it was broken... I am going with the 298ci as well and I am not sure exactly what brand of parts they are using... but I am going all the way with methanol injection under the blower and powder coating stuff exaust and clutch 8 rib pulley system... I am approaching 13 grand right now and hope to stay under 15...

is the 13 grand for total mods?

come on man $13k, I spent twice that on mine and love/hate every second of it

well your making me feel better there KB.... yep but you are 5.4 arent you? I keep seeing a lot of Stangs and know mine is going to be a surprise for most of them... first mod I do when I get it back (next week) is remove the "KB supercharged" off the back..
we should have some sort of rally down your way this fall and get you and steve and me and any other 500+ hp street stangs together see how much Stang HP we can have in one place

Start a new thread. If it's in the wrong place, it will get moved. I hope you'll include a trip to our local NHRA track (No Problem Raceway). If there are about 6-8 cars, we can even rent the track for 3 hours. Also makes for some great photo ops.

i would think it would be pretty easy to get 6-8 cars together. how much do they charge for 3 hours or is it by the hour.

Thinks it's $600 for the three hours. Need to do it on wed (T&T) or friday (bracket racing) when they are going to be out there anyway prepping the track for the evening events. But it's not at all necessary to rent the track...never have before. Just a thought...

You'll get on average 5-7 runs on either wed or fri, if you get there by 6pm. That's with letting car cool down properly between runs.
