Roush 428R 2008 Hot Rod Power Tour

Well we completed the 2008 PT, Little Rock to Madison,WI. (7 Cities 8 days). We are now offical Long Haulers from Texas.
The weather was great, we only had to detour around flooded roads the last 2 days.
I traveled with my wife Carol and our dog Carter, and 2 friends.
The Roush 428R had 2800 mi. when we started, its now at 5800. It run great, no problems, except I ran over truck tire and tore off part of the rock sheild.

I Dynoed the Roush at one stop, the temp was 98, Humidity 29%, 350 RWHP, 347 T.
They had drags at another stop, I made 3 passes, not so good, the best was a R/T .111, 14.034 @102.83, 60 FT. was 2.071. I havn't been on a drag strip in 50 yrs.
One stop had a road course in the parking lot, I made 3 runs, I won't tell you the times, lets just say I'm better at parking or maybe I was parking.

We saw a lot of nice cars of all types, and we had a great time, and met a lot of nice people.

We were the only Roush 428R on the Tour.

I bet you guys got lots of looks heading down the road. What kind of gas mileage did you get doing all the highway speed?

We got 22.6 mpg @70.
