i sent them an inquiry through their website and had a reply within 15 minutes. now that it's the weekend and a holiday i don't expect another till next week. hopefully they come through. that has been the biggest issue with getting ahold of people is the big guys generally don't answer emails. big guys like the bigger name engine builders, sc'er companies and so forth. i do understand that it's usually better to call, but sometimes it's a bit harder to do that oversea's.

yeah, saving money right now for them...I had the money but the wife made me spend the car fund on my hunting trip in Argentina at the end of August. So hopefully by first quarter of next year will have it again and be ready to go crazy.

yeah i'm pretty sold on kb's 2.8H it's not a whole lot more than the 2.6L, but i'll still need fuel pumps and injectors and a tune. if i install i should still be getting everything for around 7 grand. if we do end up over here for the entire 15 months then i'll still be getting my short block. if not maybe i'll still get it, but i'll be installing that also. think i'll end up waiting on the short block and getting a bike for gas mileage. between the stang and my durango neither get over 16 and the stang will surely be going down after the install.

screw the gas mileage....shortblock and 2.8H would be awesome...I am watching what Evolution Performance makes with there 2.8H before I even think about investing in one...I would rather a Big Stuff 3 stand alone and twin 61mm's with a 4R70W....I am keeping all my routes open right now.

hahahahaha in the year i was driving the thing i put 32grand on it. i was spending around 400 a month when i was still getting 18 around town and now it's worse. i hear ya though. how much did your short block end up costing. MMR stroker with all the extra's will be around $4500 not sure if they have a military discount or not. if so i might save 300-400 off of that.

$6600 for the shortblock, I would get with Larry_H from S197forums.com and get a shortblock from him. He has many possibilities of building and can build to suit your needs and budget.
