Bone stock '05 GT running 13.01 on Pass Time

Last night on Pass Time I saw a red 2005 Mustag GT that the owner said was bone stock except for a no-tune CAI. He was specifically asked if the car had been retuned and he said no. The car looked stock in ride height and had stock looking Bullet wheels. He did do a burnout and the car hooked pretty well, so maybe it had drag radials, but I don't know since he didn't say and nobody asked about tires.

On 3 other occasions I have seen '03/'04 Terminator Cobras on Pass Time run and the quickest was in the high 14's. All of them spun badly.

I can account for bad drivers and bad tires on the 3 Terminator Cobras, but can a bone stock (except a CAI with no tune) '05 GT run a 13.01?

there is ALWAYS a few exceptions. honestly I wouldnt put it pass him. i think slicks a one helluva driver would do it on a 3V

i seen it and thats exactly what he ran i thought it was wierd 2 but he might have had a short throw a intake and d/r's its possibly 2 run a low 13 in that car ive seen them run 13.5's bone stock right out the box

I watch that show as much as possible and I have a feeling that A LOT of those guys BS when it comes to giving up the ole' mode list...

Maybe he stripped all the unnecessary stuff. back seat, passenger seat, spare tire

my car went 13.38 @ 101 with the paper plates on it. and after Steeda Cold Air, Delete Plates, and a tune on Nitto Drag Radials went 12.8 @ 104.

That is leaving the line at 4k and slipping the clutch, and power shifting.

The car had a full interior, they showed the door open. It may have had the spare taken out, but the guy acted like it was just a CAI only. he could have been lying, but why? The point of the show is for people to guess your time based on the info you provide, if you lie then it's useless.

OK guys, I saw that show and he had a JLT intake, 3.55 gears and drag radials (might have been M/T slicks, not sure). He did get that 13.01. He did hook at the launch. Said had no tune but with a JLT you gotta have one. Maybe Bamachips or Brenspeed?

I find it hard to beleive. Did you guys ever think the slip was wrong. am i the only one who will get an off slip once and a while? i have one thats say 11.20....... dont think so.

i watched one where the guy was all smiles and claimed his car (some old street rod) was like 300hp. and then it made a 10second pass lol. he forgot to mention the 200shot of n20 that show is funny

it was pretty close to the first run we had that night, a 13.45 @ 101. This was done in October 04 when I first got my car. I was in the 50's that night and that was when our track actually gave a crap and always had a awesome prep done on it.
