A short shifter, aluminum driveshaft and installation for both? I think $800 sounds fine.

depends on what D/S you got... hurst is like 180 i believe and d/s is around $560, thats $740 and $60 for installation. sounds good to me!

Shaft is what, $600? You can dig to find the Hurst used for cheap (last I looked, 07StangGt was selling a used Hurst)... but figuring $200 for the shifter and installation on both? That's pretty good.

Out of curiousity, what did you think it would come in at? I just totalled up my mod wishlist of things if I had the money I'd go and buy right now - just shy of $8k for parts alone. Stuff adds up fast....

already sold that hurst and my xpipe. i need to go in the used parts business. anyway that sounds better then good, it sounds great, even for the old hurst, any drive shaft is gonna cost 5+ and the old hurst like 190. thats a great price installed.

Dont pay to have a hurst or DS installed... Thats simple stuff. Once yuo get the parts in find a write up and a case of beer and go skin a knuckle...

well if your asking for opinions i would get gears before a driveshaft. made way more of a difference in performance on my car. shifter, underdrive pulleys and gears would cost you 600, you could install the ud's and shifter yourself and pay to have the gears done. could cost about 200 more total considering 400 in labor for the gears. but a lot more modes, adding power, and performance. just my 2 cents.

but again for the money your paying for labor you might as well call it free. I paid 579 for my driveshaft alone, add the old hurst for 190 that 769 in parts.... hard to pass up that deal if you know the people installing the shaft know what there are doing. you can mess it up you know.
