That was the fastest time of the night and it was run about 5 minutes after the previous run. Also had the trunk full again and i weigh 100lbs more than everyone else here. Tires stuck the whole night. On my last run i launched from 3,000rpm. No bog down and i hooked perfectly. I think with some weight reduction and DR's, i'm for sure in the mid 8's. I met up with Odin at the track. Kinda nice to meet another MMer.

Dude... ya really need to go to a 1/4 track... but nice numbers... and does nittos must be special... cause I can't hook for shit with my 18's lol

redline raceway. I want to go to ennis, but it is just too far away from mckinney.

Track is about 45 minutes from my house. ... I gotta get into the mid 8's

This was my first time with the Mustang at a track. I made 6 passes and won all my races except 1 when I missed 2nd gear. Overall though I wasn't happy with my time, I was sure i could get into the 8's and my best run of the night was my first run. My 60' times suck.

My 60' times ranged from 2.18 to 2.51 and reaction times ranged from .5933 to .9858.

The stock BFG tires are killing me, I can't find a good speed to launch. Either I bog off the line launching low or I burn the tires through first.

My car is a '08 GT 5-speed, 3.55, C&L CAI and tune. I think I should be able to get into the 8's in the 1/8 mile, right?

... Oh yeah, His second to last race was against me too and He finished across the line before me, but i got a better time.

I think you need tires. You were running inconcistant because of no grip. You get that taken care of and you would have smoked me on every run last night
