Frpp Cai

Anyone had any experiences with the FRPP CAI? And does anyone know if an 07 will work on an 08 mustang?

I think 07stangGT had the FRPP. Not sure if he's traded it in yet. I do know they changed the MAF from 07 to 08 on the FRPP. They'll probably work, but you may need a custom tune, which would need an Xcal or Diablo tuner. At that point you'r better off going with one of the C&L or JLT or Steeda or Airaid kits that come with the tuner.

Unless you just want the warranty from FRPP. But if memory serves me right (and it seldom does) the FRPP stuff only has a 1 year warranty if it's installed after you've taken delivery of your vehicle.

The FRPP CAI requires a tune. Granted FRPP provides it, but they clearly state it's an aftermarket part and not a Ford factory part....

are you talking the new 08 cai, or the old one. if you want the old one just get it from steeda with the inlet elbow.

but to answer your question yes the 07 frpp cai will work on a 08.

And yes i had the frpp power package and i loved it. and i still run that cai, i just added the steeda carbon fiber inlet elbow, and different tunes now of course. dont get the new cai from frpp whatever you do.
