Best drag radials

I am looking for EXPERIENCED drivers with late model mustangs who have used Mickey Thompson 26" ET Streets and ET Street radials. I only have about 325 rwhp and I am interested in getting some good track only tires with some 15" rims. I know holeshot wheels are probably the cheapest and lightest best fitting rims right now right? Weld rims wont fit right? I am planning on getting ET STreets 26 x 11.5 - 15 which are a harder compound but alot lighter than the ET STreet Radials. I know that most people use the radials because they have a softer compound but they are alot heavier then the bias ply!!!! So because I have relatively little rwhp and have every basic bolt on I know need to get every pony to the floor. What have each of you experienced with these combos?

I run the 26x11.50 17 bias ply et streets at the track. I pull consistent 1.6 60 foot times. I think I was limited by power and by gearing, I run 3.73's shoulda got 4.10's. I was in the same boat as you with power, and still havent had a chance to run them on nitrous, but where I have my window switch set I'm already completely hooked so I dont think it will affect me much. I will be going with the radials next though, I dont like the feeling of wandering down the track the bias plies give me.

I ran the ET Street radials (17") last year and loved them. The only thing I don't like about them is they are about an inch shorter than stock tires so they look funny but they do help with gearing a little. This year I'm running M&H's and like them as much if not more than the Mickey's. They are 28" so they are an inch taller than stock which hurts gearing but I have 4.10's so they are fine. Mickey now makes a 17" radial that is around 27". If my new M&H's don't come in by the end of the week, I'll be getting the Mickey's.
