Bumper Take-Offs

Sob Story:

A while ago at a house party, my buddy decided to take my keys/car for a joy ride when i went upstairs to use the bathroom. By the time i walked outside and realized my car was gone, he was walking up to me freaking out/apologizing. After it all was said and done, my car ended up in a ditch, a patrol car rolled by, he got taken to jail, i was taken to the front gate of base (im a marine) and my car was impounded. thats not what i'm worried about. the front and rear bumbers, or fascias whichever you want to call them, and my left muffler were damaged. Since then i've replaced the mufflers w/ Pypes axle backs, and i got a top and bottom billet grille. SO, I still need to either get the bottoms of the fascias buffed out and repainted (but i don't think that's a good idea because the bottom of the front one is cracked and split in a few places), OR find someone, like you, that has upgraded their fascias and still has their stock ones and are willing to sell them. I'm also looking for some tires. I was in a burnout contest at a car show and, well, i guess that's all i have to say.

Second sob story:

I was changing my oil, (with royal purple, of coarse and i was using a couple of wheel ramps on the front wheels instead of a jack/jack stands. well, when i was backing up, the left ramp gave in and shot out to the left, turning my wheels and while the other wheel was rapidly rolling down the other ramp, my open left door proceeded to ram itself into my garage dry wall. Turns out that there are 2x4's behind sheet rock. no shit, right? well, a 1/2 inch of the lip of the door did a 90 degree turn-in, cracking the paint and denting in a consistent bend down the side of the door about 8 inches down. i would have been able to have gotten this fixed, BUT i had just bought about $700 worth of aftermarket stuff including a hurst shifter, Pypes axle backs, billet grille, sequential tail lights, and cold air intake. UGH.
Any suggestions? New door? or attempt to get it bent back/touch up-painted?

Also, i put a hurst shifter in and it is fo sho the shit. and the sequential tail lights and Pypes axles backs are too.

It would help to know what year and model your car is.

Sorry to hear about that though.

if you can't find a take off bumper, buy something besides the stock ones. damn for the price of shipping you might look into that anyway. roush comes prepainted i think.

how much do you think shipping alone would be for some bumpers?

Moss Mustang is pretty good - bought some Mini stuff from them earlier and they are a full FRPP dealer as well.

he didn't exactly 'steal' it. i was wasted and i called my girlfriend to come pick me up and she couldnt figure out how to get to the house from the gas station near by, so he went to go find her, but decided to be a dumbass. but oh you better believe i kicked his ass. I picked him up from jail the next day and let him have it. then i made him pay for the car being towed and impounded. So anyway, are there any mods you guys weren't particularly happy with. i've been pretty cool with the ones i've got so far, but i'm not too sure about some stuff like the whole 'tuning' thing. i bought a steeda strut tower brace from an old guy and he said it made a world of difference. i don't have the cash for anything like a blower, but i want something with a lot of power. I've also been looking at striping schem for the hood/side kinda like a Boss type look, but not sure...
oh and i did a sick burnout at Rockingham dragway at a car show and roasted my rear tires. anybody got some 60-70% tread pirellis? or at least Z rated?

I won't have the whole front bumper assembly back until mid next week now. Shop is taking alittle longer then expected. Uh...I'd say only about $50-60 not including shipping for each bumper. Really just trying to get rid of them, I got enough stock parts taking up room in my house as it is.

StangNV, my dad is actually giving me his gt500 wheels once he gets the super snake upgrade, so i'm only needing the tires until then. would there be any way that you would sell me just a couple of tires? If any way possible...........
