I just had the spydershaft installed.
As for as seeing the 2 tenths. I had lower control arms and the spydershaft installed at the same time. My fastest run before was 12.639. at about 111 my fastest run since was a 12.539 at about 111. but other then that i have still run the same times mostly 12.7s, it does seem more consistent in the 12.7s. I also hit 12.6s more now then before. Before i would usually run 1 12.7 and then 12.8s 9s so forth. now it seems like if i do everything the same i can hit 12.7s pretty easy. The car feels quicker on the street. I also went to the track on my street tires and launched off idle to see if that would show some gains over my previous normal runs on street tires. I thought maybe by takeing the traction issue out of the equation i could see if just the added wheel horsepower would gain me something. I still ran the same 13.0s. maybe its the weather, maybe its the track conditions. I have noticed that my 60 foot times are consistently in the 1.8s now where before they were 1.9s and inconsistent at that, so that 1/10 of my 60s should have netted me 2/10s in the 1/4, but it didnt. Like i said there could be so many other issues affecting this, and i dont really know what to make of it all. I guess you could say that if i averaged all my times after the driveshaft install i shaved my average time for sure. I hit 12.6s more now then i did before. By the way I just began stocking the spydershaft if your interested. Last edited by 07stanggt; July 25th, 2008 at 07:47 AM. |

spydershaft and Coast D/S seem to be the top 2 on the market.

very happy with my spydershaft. Definately a seat of the pants improvement, although i've noticed a little more vibration in the drivetrain.
