A few pics of the new appearance mods

Here are the pics of the Street Scene Eleanor grille, GT500 spoiler, and rear blackout panel installed.

Sorry for the quality of the pics. It was getting dark last night after I finished installing the grille so the pictures are a little dark. The rest are a little too bright since it was around noon when I took the pics.

I will take some better photos after I have installed my 3D Carbon quarter window scoops. I ended up deciding to ditch the GT500 chin...looks OK from the front if you ignore the gaps, but it doesn't seem look right from any other angle. I'll probably just go with a CDC classic.

+1 - nice clean look on the whole car.

Ha! That last shot -- thought something was odd -- did you wash the colors? Looks like one of those cool black & white shots where they add back in a little bit of color. Should get a whole car shot like that -- effect looks killer with Tungsten.

+1.

Some window louvers would be sweet also, and maybe an aftermarket front fascia.

I notice you are from OKC. You should go with us too Six Flags in October.

I will try my best guys...thanks for the invite.

I think that I will probably stick with the stock fasia and go with a CDC classic chin or the aggressive and have it painted like Heavy's is.

I used the Picasa radial black and white tool. It would have looked better if there wasn't so much solar burn. I just got Photoshop last night and it works 100x's better for stuff like that.

Here is a better pic with that same effect...

Sweet - That looks like the super streamlined tech sci-fi look that was popular in the late '90s. Or promo art from the Anton Corbjin designed Depeche Mode Albums.

Would make a phenomenal, large-scale poster with no cropping....

$40 shipped...

It is the magnetic one from American Muscle. The quality is 100x's better than the eBay ones. It fits like a glove...pretty much looks like flat black paint or vinyl. I just waxed the decklid really good and used a hairdryer to smooth out the panel. Doesn't attract dust as bad as others have said that the magnets normally do.

I was looking at a SilverHorse honeycomb but just couldn't get over how bulky they are. They totally fill the rear recessed area and stick out too far past the medallion IMO. The magnet was only $8 more than the decal which would have been a PITA to install around the medallion.

You should be able to get another $2 off or so with the MM discount.

Awesome, thanks! That's the one I was looking at, so I guess I'll go ahead and grab it! I'm just not sure how the flat black would look on my red car.

Flat black looks great on red...probably more so than any other color.

What finish are your rocker stripes? If they are glossy, there is a nice gloss panel that I found on eBay for not much more.

Here it is:
