Anyone Try The Flowtech Axle Back Kit?

I just ordered it from Jegs.......The inside of the muffler is basically layed out like the Magnaflow muffler.

I'll find out Tuesday if it sounds good....

I have had the Flow Tech axleback on my 05 GT for about 8 months. They required some muscle to fit correctly and Jegs neglected to include the proper clamps. However they do sound GREAT ,louder than stock ,however not as loud as the SLPs and the other straight through types. I recently also added BBK tuned-length headers which work well with the Flow Techs. I have almost no interior noise resonance. One time I had to repaint the high heat coating on the black mufflers due to fade. There are pics on my web page www.CarDomain.com/ride/2382372

Mine fit exactly like yours do....off center to the cutout. I just thought that was my luck but I guess thats just "normal" for flowtech....

I just got mine Sun. and put them on ASAP, having never done this before I was a little intimidated. I love the deep sound but the drone at 65 is almost unbearable. ShawnyB, you mentioned the clamps being wrong, would this contribute to the drone. And Bossman, mine do not line up in the cutout either, actually one sticks out about ½” further than the other.

I put the "Interceptor" emblems on - thought they looked cool. Reminiscent of the old MAD MAX/RoadWarrior movies. Also there was a special edition Pursuit Interceptor 5.0 LX coupe back in the late 80s early 90s ----- As far as drone from the FlowTechs, I have no drone and I don't think the clamps have anything to do with it, unless they are loose and exhaust is prematurley leaking out?????????
