turbonetics system
Anyone have any dealings with the intercooled Turbonetics system? I found someone that has the kit in stock and will do the kit with install and dyno tuning for $5700. How is that for price? He will sell me the kit for $4500 if I want to do the install myself. What do you think?

That sounds about right for the install and tuning. I was quoted $1,200 for the install by a local shop. I did the install myself instead though. The instruction manual is very detailed, and everything is pretty much straight forward...except the time for install. It took me about 3 full days to complete, and I'm pretty mechanically inclined. The only things I needed to add for the base power level was a boost gauge, wide band O2 sensor, and HTO plugs. The Turbonetics tune sux! You will definately want another tune. I'm using a JDM Engineering tune and I am completely amazed with the results. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Good luck, John G.
