stock over the axle pipes.

Ok i need some.

Redfire gave me a link to some mandrel bent replacement pipes that rpm outlet was selling but i just got off the phone with them and they dont have them anymore apparently.

Damn! for those of you that want cat back systems. keep your stock pipes. or better yet just get axle backs. just like me to make some harder then it is.

I wonder could I have a muffler shop bend these magnaflow over the axle pipes? or bend the inlet to the stingers?

Any muffler shop guys out there or metal workers?

Well here is my .02 when I removed my stock over the axle pipes and installed my mendrel bent ones I noticed much smoother lines and no kinks on the new ones vs the old oned compression bends I know everyone here says that replacing these pipes is worthless but I cannot see how straighter flow and less bends does not do something for the performance. I would LOVE to see a Dyno comparing exhaust swaps on the same car with the same axle back and only switch out the over axle portions.

Oh there is no doubt they flow better and i do beleive that when you have long tubes an o/r x pipe with a race axle back they make a difference. i dont think they will do much with a stock manifold, stock cats and H pipe, you have a lot of restrictions already before you get to the bends over the axel.

I just need some stock over the axle pipes so i can throw these corsa's and stingers on my car for sound clips. Those axle backs are made to fit stock.
