New gears...I knew it would happen to me...

FRPP 3.73's

Slight gear whine on coast around 50-70mph...also seems to appear light throttle application (like when cruise control engaged on flat/slightly downhill stretch of freeway)

Seems to get a bit worse after things get heated up.

Small whine, but irritating and bugs the s**t outta me.

And I spent (wasted) all that time heat cycling/breaking them in and driving in a very boring fashion for nearly 500 miles. Never really noticed the 50+ mph thing cuz I never had it on freeway until i got around 450 miles on 'em.

F**k, back to the shop...

yeah any good shop will take ur car out after the job to hear if it whines and if it does they put it up n rip back into it intill they shim it right! I have Max's In Abilene do mine and he tore into the rear 3-4times before he got the whine gone... some shops tell it that whine is normal with diff gears and a good shop will tell you that gears never whine if installed right!
