Austin!
ok so friday i leave to georgetown because im goign to college at Southwestern...and i was wondering are there any really good shops in austin or around georgetown? also any meets in that area? and what days? thanks

Sorry for the delay on this, being that it happened yesterday. But yeah, they were letting people do dyno runs's (2 for $40) to see what people were getting. Giving out prizez once or twice an hour and free hot dogs/drinks. Might have had a sale on some used items they had too..
The top performer of the day was an old fox body with a ford racing engine in it. It ran 573 hp on the first dyno run and 536 on the seond. There were even a couple of other stock fox bodies that got around 200 hp.

yeah it was definately fun watching a lot of the cars do dyno runs and see who had the most power.

I believe we are going to have a dyno day in November at Motion Dynamics. Also, if anyone is interested in testing out their racing skills on a real Race Track for a day (maybe 2), my club (Central Texas Stangs) has convinced Driveway Austin to have a Mustang only class on October 18. The cost is $295. It's called Driveway Austin and it's located about 5 minutes from the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. This is an actual course for learning. You don't just take your car out for 6 hours and drive it as fast as you can.
