There is a reason you don't see any IC'd PD blower guys with meth.

its not really that its that tricky, it just takes a little work... Tuning is better with the maf rather than boost with a PD blower... it still works and works well

Would water wetter help any at all? What's the "maintenance" with water wetter? I.E. how many times do I have to add it, etc...

water wetter is an additive... thats all, you won't to keep adding it... it increases the cooling effiency of the water that its added to... I use it in my bikes for track use... Glycol based coolants aren't allowed on the race track so water wetter is a great option

Got any proof? I'm been looking for proof on this for years, and have yet to come across any real data, only saw one guy that did it, but he never shared any data. I'm talking about meth on PD blower with an intercooler.

Not sure, but I need any ideas as possible! By a better fan, you mean radiator fan?

I have the same Kenne Bell blower and I upgraded the heat exchanger, the coolant reservoir and the intercooler pump. Here are some pics of what I did. I went with the AFCO GT500 double-pass heat exchanger, a custom fabbed aluminum icebox/tank and a Ford Lightning Bosch pump.
You dont want a really high capacity pump as it will push the coolant through the HE so fast it wont have a chance to cool properly. The AFCO HE is a direct fit and it comes with nice brackets and rubber bushings to mount up the HE. Before this upgrade I could not touch the top of the blower after a run without burning my hand. Now I can place my hand on there and there is little if no heat.

did you get the intercooler reservoir from ST Motorsports? What heat exchanger is that? Gords?

with it injected after the cooler coil under the blower how does it have time to condense... it has been used for years... what kid of real data do you want... look at the GT500 the put the Snow kit on in MM&FF... you can see the difference in intake temps... I'm not trusting their dyno numbers cause the can alter the tune a bit and they did... They gave it more timing to go along with lower temps and the higher octane from using the meth... and the used it before the throttle body...

do you have any proof it doesn't work?

I read about your setup on another forum and you're the one that inspired me on the intercooler and what not. How much did this whole setup run you? I'm not sure if I have anywhere to fit a bigger coolant tank. If I did just the lightning pump and the new I/C, would that be enough?

The AFCO Heat exchanger I picked up at Lethal from Jared -399.95
(I like the AFCO double-pass better than Gords, I compared both. The Gords is to stubby because Gord designed it for the Termis. AFCO has more capacity and puts the coolant through twice.)
The lightning pump I picked up from Blue Oval Industries for 79.95 (on Ebay)
The tank was fabbed by Adam at ST for $320.00
Some extra heater hoses and clamps ran about $25.00

Total 825.00 and about 4 hours to do the job in my garage.

I ran water wetter and a bag of ice at the track to lower IAT.
The difference in the temperature of the KB aftwerwards is amazing.

The HE will help a lot for daily driving, not as much at the track because it only has 11 seconds to cool the fluid. The intercooler tank and icebox help the most at the track. I had to remove my windshield washer reservoir to put the tank in but this car never has seen rain anyways.

Maybe I will do just the intercooler and see how my heat soak issue is. Thanks for all the info, your set up is amazing!
