sequential turn signals

Ok, heres my delema.. I bought the sequential turn signal kit in 05 as I knew one day I would have a S197. The kit I have is STS-1M5 from WEB ELECTRONICS
Well as luck would have it, I when I finally bought my baby it was a new 07. They changed the wiring from 05 to my 07!!.. Do they sell an adaptor kit or am I just screwed??

I know its been a long time, but we bought a new house & I couldnt find them untill tonight when I was searching for something else.

If they dont sell an adapter kit I guess I will be selling my kit & buying the newer kit.

Hmmm...you might be, I did not know they changed the wiring becasue I did not pay attention to it. To be honest this falls into a rule of mine. Save for the parts do not buy them in anticipation of the car.

In any case, if it will not work I have never seen an adapter kit. You could do 2 things. One is sneaky the other is more legit.

Legit:
- Sell the ones you have on eBay and buy the new ones.

Sneaky:
- Order the right ones from the same manufacturer of the ones you have now and claim they packaged the wrong ones and return them. This also depends on how they do their return policy too.

Of course there is always the option of just ordering the new ones and writing off the others and moving on.

I vote for making them work. It's not that complex of a circuit and really, how much could the wiring have changed. With a little electrical knowledge and a DMM I bet you can get them to work.

Just buy the correct kit. It will save you some headaches down the road. My vote is to sell the one you have and buy a new set. I have not seen an adapter for them as Emay and I went through this awhile back trying to get a set from my car to work on his, but neither of us had any luck in finding an adapter. The only thing about buying a new set and returning the old set ( as if they sent you the wrong part ) is they might just send you a new ( correct ) set, then you will have two sets and be out $150...
