Neighbors and SLP Loudmouths

I am about the pull the trigger on a set of used SLP Loudmouths. From what I have read (never heard them) is they are not too loud at start-up and idle. At startup and idle would are they much loader than stock, flowmasters, magnaflow or JBAs? I usually leave my condo at either 4:30 or 5:30 A:M and I don't want disturb my neighbors too much.

if you have stock mid pipe and the cats, it won't be that much louder

Oh, it'll be plenty louder with the stock catted mid-pipe, and slightly unbearable with an O/R-H.

Go for it! Don't worry about the neighbors, they will always find somthing to complain about. My Z28 had the loudmouth cat-back. My neighbors always said well it's time to get up for work. Don't know what they said behind my back and don't care. but you would have to live here to understand.

Off topic, but to fix your sig, add a / for the second [SIGPIC] so it should look like this:

With the stock H pipe they aren't that loud. With an off road pipe loud as hell, my neighbor uses my car as her alarm clock to wake her up every morning.

I would agree with you on certain setups. One that comes to mind is O/RX pipe, Longtubes and SLP loudmouths.
