New mods and pics

Just installed all my new mods (im broke now) and love them all! my car looks and drives way better, now im a little bit more set apart from the normal gt. Ive got alot more on my list, but need to save up some more first. let me know what you guys think! i painted my brake calipers, added black clear corners, eibach springs, bmr lcas, bmr lca relocation brackets, bmr panhard rod, c&l racer, pypes off road h, borla stingers, and moved my avic d3 from my old car into this one.

Thanks for the compliments, i really like how she sits now with the springs. all the suspension stuff together took me and my buddy around 7 hours with a couple breaks and trips to the store. it was definately worth it though.

Yea, i hear you, when it cools down in the winter (50s, 60s) i noticed i got alot better times at the track and the car just feels better (with my old car). i hope my stang can run faster in the winter! gotta get to the track now and see the difference with these mods.

I love my BMR springs as well...also make sure you grease the bushings on LCA's. I've destroyed two of them so far. From what I've read the best results come from the grease BMR sells on their website.

i just got the dupli color kit from american muscle, comes with everything you need. just make sure you go to wal mart and get foam brushes, there like 80 cents for 4 in the crafts section. the brush that comes with that kit is terrible.

well from what I understand BMR had a bad batch of bushings so when I pull them this weekend I'm swapping them for GT500's because I'm tired of the squeaking from the urethane lol. I don't go to the track so hooking isn't too important to me. I'll call BMR and see if they can replace them. I read on a few forums that the grease they sell on the website was best. Any petroleum based grease will destroy them. They told me that mobil one fully synthetic was fine, but others who used it also had some bushings fail. I think mine failed because the LCA's weren't removed when I had my subframe connectors welded. Could be a lot of things lol

i greased the panhard as well and the upper control arm...be sure to grease them again after 500 miles...then once every other oil change should be good. Some guys do em once a year though lol

its noticably stiffer over bumps and dips in the road, but not unbearable. i actually like that feeling of being more connected to the road. shifting hard into 2nd i dont feel the car "lean" back as much, hard to describe, but id definately recommend all the parts i installed. i just wish i had the money to add in sway bars and d specs at the same time. o well more to look forward too
