2006 Mustang - Deal or No Deal?

I need help. I just went to my local dealership Saturday to take advantage of Ford's year-end clearance on their 2006 models.

To make a long story short, After year-end rebate, x-plan and haggling, I walked out of the dealership paying $20,141.00 for a 2006 Mustang GT Deluxe, with the interior upgrade package and the Shaker 500 Audio system. I got home and noticed an imperfection in the factory paint on the rear fender. Original sticker plus Tax, Title, Tags would have been $27,605.

I took the car back to the dealership and said "no thanks". The imperfection was minor and the dealership offered to correct. But I walked anyway.

What I want to know is: Would I have made a good deal if I kept the car?

yeah definitely, you got a great deal to begin with and they even offered to fix the problem, why didn't you keep it? is it cause deep down inside you wanted a corvette instead? lol

What??? You can't find an '06 v6 with those options anywhere around here for that price. Go back and get the car and sell it yourself for 25K.

i smell that funny familiar smell again. who would return a car thats obviously worth more than that for a defect they would have fixed for free. thats a hell of a deal.
