The factory TOB is hydraulic. I assume you mean the McLeod or RAM aftermarket TOB? I have the RAM TOB but it leaked while being bled. RAM had me send it back to them to be fixed free of charge. I've heard mixed reviews about them. Some people have had no problems and it fixed their shifting issues. Other have had them fail pretty quickly.

I have the RAM in my car too, leaked first time it was being installed also but thats because during installation you have to shim it to get it within spec. During all that shimming if you dont take care to grease the O rings in it you can damage them very easily. I called ram told them and I had a repair kit over nighted free. Now it works awesome.
