First to the moderators of this site, zootooxn needs put on probation on this website. He got a brochure on a new srt8 challenger today and im not sure he can be trusted anymore. the termi will always own that challenger mod for mod.

That said, the salesman was trying to talk smack to me. I said its a nice car but i love my stang. He said, and i qoute, "yea but your mustang only comes with a measly 300hp." I said i tell you what, you put some dealer tags on that car, and lets go run from a dig or a roll, if you beat my measly stang, ill buy the car with cash today, no bullshit. then he went back to work on zootoxn.

Did you guys know they only have a 3.06 final ratio? but they were only asking 44,000 for that srt and it was loaded, nav system, moonroof.

Anyway he said the 09s with the manual will have a 3.73 if you get the 18 inch rims and a 3.90 if you get the 20 inch rims.

its a nice car but still not as hot as the s197 when you really break it down.

yea they are nice looking. They must be charging like 60,000 for them where you live right? you got like 10,000 import tax or somethin dont you?

I havent even seen one... or rather, I have'nt set foot in any dealership.

but the import tax is 22% if I'm not mistaken

oh, this is cool, I just found the page where I can check the importing tax on the vehicles imported here...

The challenger has a 12,336.60 over the 48516 price that's reported on the site...

Yeah, they look pretty spify but that's about it for me.... the thing is a pig! Though it is kinda cool to see a new and old one parked next to each other at least.

Challenger SRT8's are not very impressive... My girlfriend is so fed up with the performance of her's, she's having it sent to Arrington Racing to get the 440 balanced kit intalled with custom cam and ported and polished intake.s

The 6.1 already has CAI Warhammer, 90 throttle body, Kooks header and axel backs, Diablo custom Arrington tune... Mid 13 sec car at best. Her dad has a STRIPPED (3500lbs, no carpet, no radio, removed sunroof w/ al. sheetmetal, removed driver light for 'ram air'...) Charger SRT8 and best is a 12.59

There's no reason to be concerned about the srt8... NONE of them.

they have a nice look to them...retro....but although the srt8 is a respectable engine i could not see myself buying one.....zippy will be the first to buy one on this site.

i bought my car for 25K those things are selling for 44K with the extra 19K i have left over there is no way they could touch our cars after 19K in mods....let alone with basic bolt ons and gears..

They do look badass but for 4000lbs they need the 425hp to get going...im not impressed at all...

I hate the mod for stock argument, I don't care if the price difference is 100K, if you mod one, you gotta mod the other.
