For those of you who kept up with my dillema, I'm baaaaaaaack!

Just got my Ram HD clutch and steel flywheel installed and I'm back to my powershifting ways. Houston we have liftoff, and many other lame cliches. My transmission problems are no more and I plan on promply mailing back the faulty SPEC clutch and flywheel in the RAM boxes. Next time I'll hit the track will be friday the 5th, and I'll promptly post times afterwards. Bythe way its now been over 6 months since I've been able to make a true run and many things have been done to the car since then.

Wow... This is bassakwards from what I've been hearing from other guys at the track. Usually its a faulty RAM part and guys end up with Spec. Are you still on the stock TOB?

BTW, your car is awesome!

Using the RAM TOB, I dont think the stock one could keep up with the pedal effort of this new clutch, its pretty high. AND Hell yes I can drive but like Mickey said I'm gonna have to get dialed back in though.

In the morning or just after your car sits for a while are you having to pump your clutch pedal once or twice to get all the feeling back? Like is it almost on the floor when you get in? I've been reading quite a few storys about RAM TOB's either leaking or failing.

During install you have to shim it to get it within 2 10'ths of an inch of the fingers on the pressure plate and if you dont grease it well you can damage the fragile O rings in the part. I did this first time I installed it. Called RAM the next day, they understood, said it happens all the time and overnighted me a rebuild kit. After that I knew whose clutch I was gonna buy next. After that first incident its been perfect since. Actually a little tougher pedal but it wont fail like the stocker has on me and they're rebuildable so you'll never need another new one again. I'm satisfied with all my RAM products.
