Get some 4.10 gears and it'll take care of that problem

Actually how long are you in the low rpm range when you are racing. Not very long.

thats why you use phaser limiters...it limits the degree of turn of the cams to a maximum of 20 degrees instead of the normal 60's

some of my frinds are always talkin about OICU812 honda engines.. i have know idea why they have to use numbers and letters to ID stuff... confuses the hell outta me. i like things that make power too. who doesnt. i think i mainly hate Hondas is because I go to Nashville Auto Diesel College and there are tons of kids with then who always talk a bunch of shit about V8's when their cars sound like a weedeater, not even a weedeater on steroids, just a weedeater. dont get me wrong there a few hondas i respect, mainly track cars, real full time track cars, and the highspeed chase CRX they have here running around nashville, yep its an undercover cop, he top out at 212. sprry this was so long but you got me goin. haha

tight lsa vs. a/c and brake function: its all in the tuning... you will lose SOME vaccum with tighter cams, but your tuner will probably raise your idle a little to compensate that. at least I would... My truck has a few narly cams I run in it and it idles great at 850... of course its track vehicle, so the ac NEVER runs, couldnt tell you how the strain of the ac compressor would affect it... but I think it would run.. the ecm has more than one idle setting.. one for open loop, one for in gear (autos) and one for ac compressor on.

thats how my truck runs... dont know about the fords as I'm still learning about their spanish oak system.

you can also adjust the idle by moving the TPS a little. i dont know if thats a bad thing or a good thing though. i did that on my 3000gt and it ran fine.

I idle around the 750rpm's. Just know the needle hangs around the 3rd mark before it gets to 1000rpms

no need on a ETC car. I DO NOT mess with ETC throttle bodies.. they are caliberated to a certain extent.
