Axle back exhaust

Hello, I am looking for a good axle back exhaust system, I bought the Pypes Violator exhaust and 'm not pleased with them at all,, they don't sound bad at idle or when you rev it up a little, but while you are cruising or riding along at 25 or 30 mph the drone is terrible. So what I'm looking for is an exhaust that doesn't resonate while you are cruising along.....does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Lile

^I will agree with that list, except for the Corsas. No way in hell would I ever pay $700 for freakin mufflers. Also the Bassani SS avle backs sound great as well. That is what I run on mine.

if you know where to shop, Corsa's with only cost $40 more than all the rest. And not packing... a dumbass can figure the bene'fits of no fiberglass in their muffler... bout the same as 3 instead of 4 fingers on a pistol........

I sent you a private message about some axle backs made for the gt 500.

keep in mind that vid has long tubes and an x pipe. so your 5.4lt with stock manifold is not going to sound anything like that. Corsa's are good for no drone.

I like the list with stingers and bassani ss axle backs plus add the kooks axle that i sent you the vid on. deeper then the corsa's and no drone probably sound bettter if your exhuast is otherwise stock.

by the way I dont know if you ever thought about long tubes. but i have several sets of kooks in stock for the gt 500 and really to sell one set anyway if you know what i mean. oppurtunity knocking.

I think alot of your drone is your mid pipe. If you went with a X-Pipe the drone would be gone

Another option is JBAs. Very little drone. The sound from the outside is amazing. Inside the car it's quiet until you hit the go peddle.

The FRPP/ Borla Stingers have drone while accelerating but once you get to your desired speed the drone goes away and is as quiet as stock

FRPP Stingers FTMFW or GTFO

I couldn't agree more. I'm soooooooo fucking glad I switched to them. They make my old Pypes Mid-Muffler sound like they belonged on a Honda.

Bassani FTW - The axle back sound amazing by themselves but if you can afford to do it all at once, get the x pipes and do the whole thing. I promise you, you won't regret it.
