That Good Ole Bassani Sound

There always seems to be a question about axle backs/x pipes so thought I'd post this in a separate thread so it's searchable...

Here's a few things that have been said about my car since I went full Bassani:

1) I leave about the same time the kids get on the bus in the morning and my Mustang is my DD...

They're across the street standing with the neighborhood kids the other morning and one of the kids says...

"Wow...your Mom's car sounds like a Nascar! lol I'm no Nascar fan but that's still a good thing, right?

2) My kids told me later that after I left that morning, they could hear me forever....we live in the country so they hear me get to the end of the first road, the end of the second road and the end of the 3rd road...3 country miles. lol

3) I've been stopped numerous times in the parking lot at work by random people telling me how great the car sounds. "Always know it's you - nothing sounds like your car."

Any of you other Bassani owners have similar experiences to share?

I had a guy in a v6 camaro laugh and call me an asshole for making his car sound like a turd when I pulled up into a local quick check for a cup of coffee once.
I wasn't revving it up or anything either.

I love my Bassani exhaust. Off road X, Aft-Cat mufflers. Sounds great except for some random trumpeting. Here ya go...

well o/r exhaust does have a distinct smell.

Its an auto.

Just turn off the traction control and put it in first gear. Then hold the brake while giving it gas. When the tires break loose just modulate the throttle and keep it at about 4500rpm for as long as you see fit
