It has begun!!!

Dropped the car off this morning at the shop to have the vortech kit installed and the 3.73 gears installed (upgrade from my 3.31 stock gears). Vortech kit includes:
Vortech T-trim that was recently sent to Vortech for an Upgrade per Vortech. Head unit has Zero miles on it now.

Vortech Air Chiller assembly with Vortech Blow Off Valve Assembly

Vortech 10-lb lower pulley and Vortech 4-lb upper pulley for 14psi boost. Uses a Gates belt which is included but I would recommend replacing in the future. (this is being replaced to push down to 10-11 psi)

Vortech Coolant Tank.

Upgraded Vortech Ice Chiller Box that can be mounted in the trunk or in the battery box area.

Vortech Bumper Mount Heat Exchanger with Bosch Coolant transfer Pump.

K&N Air Filter and Tube Assembly

Edge Products 60-lb injectors with Fuel Harness adapters only 3-dyno passes

Diablosport Mafia for Mass air and Injectors used for only 3-dyno pulls

SCT2200 Mass air meter Used for only 3-dyno pulls

Ford Racing GT500 Fuel Pumps Used for only 3-dyno pulls

SCT Tuner with 3-custom Dyne Tuned programs, if you use the GT500 pumps you will have to have a tuner change your PCM settings for it to work properly or it will throw codes.

Any one care to make estimates on what my dyno should show by the end? And what my track times would be? I haven't run at the track yet with my 20s and nittos, my best time at the track was my first time there and only made 4 runs. I'd like to think I'm capable of pulling a 13.5 with what I had on just through better shifting and better launch.

14lbs of boost and you have no forged internals? How long do you think that motor gonna last?

Hehe, oh, I'll be pic/vid whorin it up. The shop actually specializes in classic mustang restorations. They had a GORGEOUS 72 mach they just finished. Completely stripped it to metal, redid the whole paint job. It's got to be the sexiest mach I've ever seen.

Bah, can't edit my post. No estimates though on what HP I can achieve on 10psi with a centri and those added parts to the kit? I'm definitely curious on my 1/4 times, I was guessing on my 20s and nittos that mid to low 12s would be my bracket, probably mid 12s though. With seat time, short throw, suspension, and some drag radials on my stock 17s I was thinking I could see 11s?

No worries, got it under control, hehe.
This isn't what I call under control, the gates belts are softer in compound and get more traction on the pulley which is why they produce better boost, but swapping to another brand belt and getting lower boost levels is because there is belt slip. The only true way to account for raises and reductions in PSI is by physical hardware replacement, which is in this case a pulley change.

It's also very common for the Gates to wear more, in turn causing more under hood dust.

Also, it's not a true statement that the GT500 pumps throw codes, I ran the pumps untuned for 2 weeks while waiting on my c500 parts to return from paint and my wheels to arrive from NAD so I could drive the car to the tuner. It ran fine, was codeless, and I couldn't resist but to jump on it a few times to boot.

Yea, sorry, the quote was meant to be for the pulley, not the belt. I have a larger pulley ordered, the 3.6" I believe instead of the 3.25" that was on it. I am also replacing the belt, it has a Gates on that is near worn, I'm trying to get a Goodyear Gaterback, it's what Vortech recommends. And I have no clue about the gt500 pumps, that was just a copy/paste of what the guy who made the kit sent me.

Any idea on what to do to get the car started up without a canned tune from vortech? Will my stock tune start it up good enough to get it dyno tuned? If so, I can save some money on towing it to the dyno shop..

If you stay completely out of boost, the car can and will be able to be limped to the dyno. You could ask vortech to email you a flat line tune, I've done that through Brenspeed several times for 2 procharger and a whipple install.

Call Brenspeed and have it emailed? or call Vortech? I tried calling Vortech about it, but the sales rep said the wouldn't send me a canned tune unless i bought the kit from them.

probably vortech. If it's anyplace that sells the same product, they won't give you anything since you did not give them the business. It's sad they're like that but they want your money

Brents a pretty good guy he may help you out. Who did you buy the SCT from? I'm guessing the same person as the charger came from? If so, there should be a conservative tune in there.

I'm sure Brenspeed wouldn't do that, I've ordered my exhaust through them and plan on having them look over my tune.

What tuner are you using? My shop gave me a canned tune with the programmer i bought from them for my exact application so i can drive to their shop.
