Houston Raceway Park 9-5-08

Anyone going to run tonight? I'm thinking about heading out there this evening sometime.

I'm going to do a granetelli sway bar delete before the track and see if it helps my 60' times - maybe barely squeek into the 11s. We'll see.

I'm gonna kick it around a little bit. I have to fix a couple of exhaust rattles after I get off at 2:30. I haven't ran 1/4 since my last upgrades and I'm kinda curious how the car is going to run on the top end. How crowded has it been getting on fridays?

End of October(ish). If we all shoot for that, then it'll likely 'jel' in the first week of November. With this crew, everyone will be getting that last tune, mod, or fix a broken one by then

Nothing!!!!!! I haven't broke a thing (knocks on wood) in about 3-4 months. Car is running strong and consistent, that is what I want.

How's your's running? I know you got hit hard by the hurricane down there, everything good with you. I will be coming to Baton Rouge before the end of the year for some dyno days with cody. You should come by and say hello.
We might even make a trip to No Problem and see if I can get some runs without a Problem. No Problem raceway has given me nothing but problems!!!!!!

well, just got the "No way" from the wife. We have dinner plans with parents tonight, so maybe sunday I can go racing.
Sat. I gotta do dyno tuning and runs all day, so hopefully I'll get some time to check the car and make sure it's ready to go run.

Mine's running Great, We got lucky for the hurricane at the house, a few shingles gone and some of the privacy fence around the pool is down but that's it.
No damage to car,

Post up before you come down to Cody's shop, I'll go check you out Definitely if you'll go out to NPR.
Hard launches on a prepped track gives the axles hell but of course you know that better than anyone. Especially at NPR

I'm in! By then John might not be the only one with a turbonetics kit. You think we should start a thread in the southeast board or the drag racing board or just leave it here in the s197 side?

Yeah guys looks like no one could make it, and I ended up not going myself!

How about SUNDAY the 7th? Anyone want to make some plans?

I got the Granetelli swaybar delete installed and took it for a spin. Big difference on the launches. I'm ready for an 11 sec timeslip.

Joe lets go Sunday - bring out the propane torch...we'll see about an 11.
And don't forget the mickeys! It would be great if I could borrow them for a pass or two.
