Does anybody run the BMR tubular K member and control arms. I know it saves a lot of weight but how is the drivability (street) compare to the facory setup?

I had the BMR billet aluminum lower control arms with urethane bushings...but I took them off recently. I thought they were causing my noises in the rear suspension but they are 100% fine lol. I loved them and I felt better driving with them on the street than the stockers...I now have GT500 lowers and still hook perfectly fine with them

Do you mean front a arms or rear control arms? I have rear control arms on and the ride is fine, better then stock.

next week im putting the k member and adjustable race a arms on. They have the spherical rod end so if anything will affect ride quality negatively they will and ill be posting it up. You can get the arms with prothane bushings and they are fine for street use.

The k member will have the same affect as billet prothane motor mounts. Becuase the BMR k member replaces your stock motor mounts. Which is not bad, i already run prothane motor mounts and you feel a little more feedback from the engine but you get use to it.

The front K member and front a-arms, the rear end is alredy done. I am also trying to work a deal with my significant other right now and if I get my way I'll be in touch for some thumpers and phase limiters............................

It will drive the same way, it does get a little "drifty" at high speeds but that can be corrected. I've installed over 100 of these setups and no one complaint about driveability or noises coming from the front end. BMR makes a quality product and stands behind it.

By leaving the front sway bar on. ALot of the cars we do this to race alot at the strip and are driven to work and around town. The weight taken off the front end is around 31.2lbs. off the front end, remove the sway bar and you're losing another 26.5lbs. That there is a HUGE difference in t=front end weight. Leaving the sway bar attached helps out a TON in the handling department, but most who do the K-member are removing the front away bar as well to save weight.

Ok, now I understand. I would leave the sway bar on anyway maybe just upgrade it.
