2006 Mustang gt Paxton 2200 novi installing soon, looking for input.

I have finaly decided what to do with my build. For right now though after rims,tires, suspension, and brakes.... I will be (spring time) installing a Paxton novi 2200 ho intercooled. To avoid blowing up my engine I am running 10 psi with some comp cams. (stage 2 with lockouts) The rear end is getting 4.10's the eaton diff sitting in the garage, and a frpp girdle. I was just was wanted some imput from the people running the novi 2200, and what their setup is. Thanks.

(and NO I'm not going to run a twin screw or a turbo. thanks for the imput on the last thread. but my mind is made up.)

if i were going with a centri i would only put on a procharger and would not go with the base one either. at least go one level up on the head unit.

how about a KB and some crack.....well maybe one day after i get the bottom done and think it feels slow again. hahahahahaha

The Novi 2200 is equivalent to a Procharger D1SC. The Novi is an excellent blower and will support whatever you want to do with it.

I also heard from a few people (blow by racing, brenspeed, and a few others.) That the air charge temp on the pro charger is higher than most despite their claim. And the intake is by the fire wall?!?!?!?!? The paxton makes good power and is the same displacement. And the intercooler is bigger.

Purchase the 8 rib belt kit, Read the directions several times before you begin. Use a bowl of soap and water when installing the intercoller. Take your time and have fun.

I ran my NOVI 2200 HO kit for a year and a half and over 5k miles on my otherwise stock 06 GT, has been my favorite kit so far. I also run a NOVI 2000 on my fox bady race car, I wouold not buy anything else but Paxton.

I would like to see a comparison between a paxton 2200 novi intercooled and the procharger equivalent at 10PSI and get the verdict on this.
