passanger seat

rear seats

we assumed it was ford cause it says made in canada on it, and had the numbers

apparantly the cast iron big blocks fit in them so im hopeing it won't be a problem. im just wondering if the ecu is in the bay and roughly where stuff goes etc. in a lot of the british fords the ecu is inside the cabin behind the glovebox, or at least they were in the early 90's.

The ECU is on the passanger side of the engine bay, in front of the shock tower.

What car is that? It looks like a 1976 model Mercury Capri.

it drove home alright, as long as you stayed under 80mph. lorrys made things a bit more intresting though.

they were sold over here as a mk3 ford capri, which was sold from 83-87ish?

as long as nothing lives on the cabin side of the bulkhead thats ok.

as for why, well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Yeah, that's interesting...that body style was made in the states from 1976 thru 1978, I think. I haven't seen one around here in a loooong time.
