standard engine bay pics.
whats it suppose to look like? ive currently got;
passanger seat ![]() rear seats ![]() boot ![]() ![]() also the bloke i got it from gave me this. ![]() we assumed it was ford cause it says made in canada on it, and had the numbers 4r33 - 9g683-ac 4l24 9g641 bb 4j30c on it. he had a rover v8 and an audi v8 knocking about too, so i want to make sure its not of one of those. ta.

![]() apparantly the cast iron big blocks fit in them so im hopeing it won't be a problem. im just wondering if the ecu is in the bay and roughly where stuff goes etc. in a lot of the british fords the ecu is inside the cabin behind the glovebox, or at least they were in the early 90's.

The ECU is on the passanger side of the engine bay, in front of the shock tower.

it drove home alright, as long as you stayed under 80mph. lorrys made things a bit more intresting though.
![]() they were sold over here as a mk3 ford capri, which was sold from 83-87ish? as long as nothing lives on the cabin side of the bulkhead thats ok. ![]() as for why, well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. |

Yeah, that's interesting...that body style was made in the states from 1976 thru 1978, I think. I haven't seen one around here in a loooong time.
