Im sorry i meant mac shorties. But why did you opt for shorties the things ive heard is they are not worth it because of very minimal gains.

i wanted to keep the car 50 state emission legal. that's the only reason i went with the shorties. i know long tubes are better but shorties aren't bad.

LOlL ah you dont need no stinkin sticker LOL. Yeah emissions sucks luckily my car still has a year and a half left on the sticker and I registered it in a non emissions county. I just think if I had to worry about that i just wouldnt have spent the money.

i have MAC longtubes and they have their ups and downs. obviously performance and sound quality is what i like the most but then i drag everything under the sun and the install was a pain, even with a 6 cylinder in the engine bay. so for a nice legal setup, you went the right way. you will see more hp when you start breaking into the motor.
