I like no badge on a black grill.

Very sharp looking car. Nice job.

What kind of fender badges are those?

Motor upgrades kinda got pushed aside for now, just SCed with some suspension and drivetrain upgrades for now. Maybe later this year gonna build the motor and up the boost some.

Wow, old post. Sorry about the late responses.

Honestly I'm getting tired of all the guys on this board building these toned down street sleepers. I mean the car has potential, you should show off a little bit.

I did all the visual stuff to really bring out a classic/tasteful look and mostly to stop looking like the other 50 stangs rolling around town. I'd go with a sleeper concept if a had a bullitt, since they just look clean and aren't as typical.

I hoped you picked up on my sarcasm, which often times doesn't translate well in writing. In all seriousness, it looks really good. I especially like the rear wing, I don't think I've seen it done that way before.

I like the wheels....I'm indifferent about the spoiler, although I am leaning towards not liking it....

The louvers i'm also indifferent about, they don't bother me but I don't think they add anything.

The stuff that bothers me is the carbon fiber stickers on the hood, the mirrors, and the back panel. I've never liked that hood, but I don't really like any hoods on the s197 so you can throw that one out the window. The center foglights make me cringe a little bit, it's just cheesey in my opinion.

Anyway- if you like it that's all that matters. I just think these cars are super susceptible to being tacky and overdone, the temptation to turn it into a gt350 or an eleanor is just too great. My personal style is clean cars with mods that look like they should have been there from the factory. In my opinion, a good looking car is one where at first glance you don't go "body kit, spoiler, bla bla bla". Everything works in conjunction and you don't even notice the things added on to the car.

Going to eventually build the motor or pick up a Livernois shortblock and up the boost, maybe after this next coming deployment. I'll probably pick up a TCI tranny when the stock one eventually breaks.

I was trying to go classic with some modern touches, but blatantly mustang.

Wheels are American Racing Shelby Razors, modern but still pure mustang. Not a fan of the rivets, but I can live with them. Spoiler is also classic, but alittle more aggressive and pronounced then the stock gt500 one.

I like the louvers because they remind me of the classic stangs and sit in with the body. Not a fan with scoops there.

The hood is actual carbon fiber, not stickers. I had the stripes taped off when the hood was being painted. I am still undecided on the hood style, I was fighting with 3 choices for a while. Finally decided on a classic more subtle look that matched the rest of the car best. Got the back panel to clean up that area some, didn't like the fake gas cap.

I have a soft spot for center lights, either in the upper or lower grille. If I didn't get this front bumper kit then I would have at least got center mounted lights similar to the CDC kit.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I fully respect them. I personally like how everything turned out and I think everything complements each other pretty good. I like how it is obviously classic mustang, but not over the top, not super aggressive looking. Just enough to set it apart from everything in town.

Thanks for all the opinions and thoughts.

Nice. Not a fan of chrome but the foose wheels look good. What rear bumper do you have? Any plans for an aftermarket hood?
