First off I know this will probably get moved but since I'm in this section 99.999999999% of the time figured I'd post it in here. Well my fiancee wants a new ring for x-mas and its $1200 more if we trade in her current ring. More than likely I'm going to get it for her. What she suggested was if I get her the ring she'll get me a s/c and throw it on her cc. Now don't get me wrong I'm on the edge of just letting her do it. Who wouldn't want their significant other buy them a s/c for xmas. But I'll feel bad with such an expensive gift especially on her cc.

If I do go for it I'll get the Brenspeed Saleen Stage III. Swap out the KB BAP for the GT500 fuel system thats in their Stage IV and also upgrade to the Extreme Cold Air Kit that they are offering. Also get me a driveshaft loop and go back to my stock 3.55 gears that I still have.

What would you guys do?????

If I go through with it I'll also need a SOS 3 gauge pillar pod, Mechanical Boost/Vacuum gauge, electric fuel Psi gauge, and an electric wideband. Autometer all the way around

If you dont take it i will. I dont want a superchager but i'll think of something, i need a 100 shot with all the trimings, maybe some rims for show days, and i want the cdc ducktail spoiler, oh and a shaker hood. and then a shop can fix my paint, maybe some painted charcoal stripes, or one stripe like the machs. thats should be less then 6000.

Its not a $1200 ring. Its a $2500 ring but if we trade her ring init'll cost me an extra $1200 to get it. I'll probably help her pay her cc off.

Ummmm I don't think I've ever heard of an offer like this from someones fiance! DEF. do it, but I'd feel bad about such a big difference. So if it were me, I'd get her the ring plus something else like a bracelet, earrings, or a necklace. But that's awesome man, deffff do it!

Thanks man. Im playing with it myself trying to get something i like. I dont know if it like it or not. But, i am getting good at changing it.

Depends on the interest rate your paying on that credit card if i would put 6+gs on it. whoever said get a loan might be right, maybe you would get a better rate. cant you get loans from the federal credit union being military. I guess it all depends on how fast you pay it down. you could be spending more then needed on all that.

Wow ... I don't know what to say ... if you were already married, I'd give you one answer ... but engaged, you're playing with fire.

I say you drop the dime yourself, let her make payments and get her the ring ... that way if she can no longer make the payments you two won't fight over "who's it is ...". As long as she makes the same payments to your S/C as you did for the ring all is well ...

You two are playing with fire my friend ... hopefully you get married soon where all this won't matter any more ...

Edit 1: +200 on the loan ... much lower interest. USAA could hook you up on that ...
