so I've got a screaming yellow 06 GT 'vert...Now I need some black stripes!
So first, side striping...the Hockey stick style...deffinetly, but which? Boss? 427?

Now I'll be adding on a roush hood scoop, what should I do for my hood/body stripe?
I was thinking something like a single superstripe like this: Superstripe package fits 05-08 V8 mustang and GT [SS] - $161.99 : BaltimoreStreetMods, 3M Automotive Graphics or just the hood stripe of that OR lemans 12" wide dual stripes across the body...
Black or matte black? is the matte effected by zaino like it is wax?

Most stripes look good, but I agree that you should have them painted on.

I would but I'm not sure how long I'll keep 'em..may swap out the hood sooner or later or do a front fascia conversion.

what about selections for the side stripes? which looks better? I'm partial to the 427r

I would do the 10 or 12 in racing stripes and maybe ( but probably not ) some rocker panel stripes. I would also agree with everyone else about painting them on, I know you said that you will probably be getting a hood or bumper, but you will have to have those painted and put stripes on it so there wont be much different pricewise in replacing stuff between painting it and vinyl.

good luck on this venture...the choices are endless...i have the same prob....with my GO ppl say go Boss but thats what everybody does....so....its hard to find something diff

they all would look good on the yellow....its all in what theme or route ya want to go...

paint is better ....BUT,,,more $$$.....especially if you may change things down the road..

once again good luck, and let us know what ya end up doing...I know this wasn't very helpful was it...sorry

Its all good timber! I'm definetely doing vinyl, I really don't see the advantage of painting when I'm eventually going to change the hood, front fascia, and rear fascia. Im almost set on flat black 427 sides and either the dual or super.

I could understand going vinyl if you werent sure you were going to keep it, but dont go vinyl just because your going to be replacing your hood and bumpers. See below

Vinyl stripe replacements ( $80 )

Having stripes painted onto a hood and bumper already in the shop getting painted ( $100 )

I actually like the Roush Stripe (But of course don't put the 427 on there because fake badges/emblems really are gay) and take it up to the hood, bring them together on the hodd and do two big stripes down the rest of the hood.
