Best midpipe for SLP loudmouths?

I think I remember reading somewhere that x pipes are preferred over h pipes for slp's? also, catless mids would be obnoxiously loud right?

lastly, do slps actually yield any HP gains like they advertise? I mean, it makes sense since their is no muffler restriction, but I've read on forums that axlebacks give no HP gains and that they are just for sound. Any input regarding that?

I am not sure about the sounding good part, but the catless will be very loud.

As for the hp gains, it is very minimal on our cars, maybe 5 hp

If you havent heard it, on a car, they frankly i wouldnt buy it. SLPs are a "you either like them or you dont kinda sound".

Its not like a axle back that everyone likes.

an x pipe will make your exhuast louder, with any exle back.

and i dont beleive any of them add any power. magnaflow claims a 25 hp gain from their catback set up. LOL. full exhuast wont get you that on this car.

I love my loudmouths, but with the stock H pipe there was pretty bad drone. i added the FRPP Xpipe that uses the factory cats and it sounds even better. the drone is gone and it's actually quieter on the inside of the car than without the xpipe. at the same time though it's louder when you are behind the car. i think i'd like to try a catless xpipe though however won't because i'm not one to change parts just because something might be a little better. as stated already though the slp's are a love or hate axleback.

car.
The only thing that will help the sound of SLP's is to not have them on the car alltogether. Put some better sounding exhaust on it and then we'll talk.

Hi I'm Ryan and I'm a loudmouth hater.

Loudmouth: N. Bought by suckers who dont want mufflers. $330 for no mufflers....I could be drunk for 2 weeks for 330 bones....

I bought Pypes Deletes :-) they suck too...Because they are the EXACT fucking same thing.......

took them off, put the stockers back on with a catless x pipe.....

sounds like a flowmasters to me... but the stockers are actually a dynomax rip off reverse flow style shit can...
