To Cool Or Not To Cool.


Whats good everyone i need your opinions on a matter.Should i upgrade my kenne bell 5 psi kit non ic to ic 9psi kit,or,should i get an off road h and some gauges or a blu ray player

upgrade the kit.......you have all the gauges you need in the car.....and if you want a blu ray player do what I did, buy a PS3

Thats what i want to do but 2 days to upgrade,dam it that really sucks.I thought it would be a breeze.

all you need to do is remove the lower intake, flip it over and install the intercooler core, install heat exchanger and tank, run a couple lines and purge the air out, and your ready to go....

KB i am still running my stock clutch is it going to hold up also what about the catted exhaust,i have heard of some failures leading to blown engines.

as long as it isn't Dynatech cats, you have nothing to worry about....the stock clutch lasted 20k miles on my car and 14k with the KB on it....

What was the reason for the rebuild besides the obvious power needs did you have engine problems from the blower.Will this blower be louder at 9psi.

no, not a single problem with the engine....I wanted to step up the game and the stock motor wasn't going to be up to the task, so I bought another one and had it rebuilt....I still have the stock motor from my car in the shed wrapped up....It is still a complete motor except for oil pan, cam covers, and front cover....

KBs really arent a loud blower ( which was always my apeal to them ), almost unnoticable. If you wanted whine you should have looked into a procharger, you can hear them from a block away.

Well i figured that would be the answer.One of my buddies thought it would be better to get an off road h and some gauges so that when i got the uograde i would be able to monitor everything plus being cheaper mods.Let me ask u how far would you go have mod money.
